Default Engine trouble?

I purchased a new Octavia Ambiente 1.9 TDi in 2005. Flywheel replaced under warranty after a few months. Same car now in garage after - without warning - losing power and gradually coming to a halt and having to be towed back to dealer. Diagnosis as yet unconfirmed but mechanics seem to think it is a fault in the engine itself as opposed to flywheel sensor or other possibilities. Not what one expects from a new car! Has anyone else had a similar problem?

if it's gradually coming to a stop and not suddenly stoping i would suggest it's a fuel supply problem, probably caused by a faulty immobilizer

the old Octy had a relay 109 problem. I would hope this was a non issue on the New Octy.
