| Fitted set of Octy 11 Sill Protectors today PN. KDA 600 002 - a free gift from my dealer to compensate for a few problems I had with the new car. They look really nice on though I am not sure I would have paid the asking price of £60 for them. Thought the following might be of interest to anyone contemplating the same. The instructions supplied are a series of pretty poor pictures but the key info is that they should be fitted when the temperature is between 20 and 40 degrees C - a rarity this time of year. Over came this today by parking in the sun and using a hairdryer to warm the sills and covers. Sills should be degreased/dewaxed - I used meths but the installations pics show a tin which appears to be labelled HHA 301 011 ??? – I assume this is Skoda PN. The Glue must also be pressure sensitive as another of the pics indicates they should be pressed down with a force of ‘80 N’ – Newtons ??. I had no problems after heating everything and pressing down hard. Whole installation took 1 hour

| My digi camera has died so it will be a while before I can get some pics up but there are Pics in the Octy Accessory brochure available from any dealer - and they look even better fitted.

| Can you "circle" the peices you get ? I assume in the first pic (rear door) you got two pieces? I assume in the second pic (front door) you also only get two pieces ? Does the front one include the complete strip which the steel plate attaches to? |

| The sort of glue used typically gets much stronger after 24 hours, so you have a little while to change your mind! |
