how much would I be looking to pay for an 06 2.0tdi pd Octavia Elegance? at a stealer, with between 8-15000 miles on the clock considering I have cash and no trade in.

try a search on the Skoda UK website, there's a way of doing a national search for a particular model and then you can gauge the average price in all dealerships and pick on e and then it's just down to seeing if you can get a bit knocked off or stuff thrown in (year's tax, full tank of fuel, set of carpet mats etc) may be a bit easier to get money off if it's near the end of month/quarter and they're short of their target

just did a quick search and they seem to be £13 - 14k

Don't pay anywhere near that, Drive the Deal will do a brand new one for £14.2K OTR...perfect for you as you have no trade in.
