| If one was fitted without any other mods like intake and pump etc but maybe a turbo back exhaust, would there be worthwhile gains when mapped, opinions? Maybe less hassle fitting CAI's , uprated pumps trying to squeeze every last bhp out of the k03, maybe in the long run working out slightly cheaper and less hassle? Might be able to get my hands on one so just thinking out loud ![]()

| i'd say go for it but the pump would be needed much like uprated injectors but i've never looked into it.

It seems like it would be the easiest way to get around the 280bhp mk. Injectors are at least good for 280bhp. The Ko4 cars don't seem to have fuel cut issues unless over 300bhp and it's the same pump. Maybe it's because the larger turbo is more efficient and maybe it burns it's fuel better giving more bhp for less fuel vs the ko3.

| To fit the turbo you would probably need the bigger injectors, you also need to modify the intake system so that you have a front mounted diverter as the K04 doesn't have it mounted on the casing like the K03. Not a problem though, I actually run a front mount DV on my K03 setup for better reliability. You also need K04 software.
