Maxidot Additions In vRS

Hi,

I am aware that several things can be added to your car via the VAG-COM interface such as 10(ish) MPH autolocking, double beep to lock/1 to unlock etc but when enabled (especially the first) can they have Maxidot menus to enable/disable them when you want? Hope I make sense

Depending on the age of your car will alter whether or not there is a Maxidot menu option for these options (if available at all). If the option isn't there today then enabling the option via VAGCOM will not magically make the maxidot menu appear.

Think of the Maxidot as a mini VAGCOM which is also directly sending the control codes to the unit in question (in the same way VAGVOM does).

so enabling any more features via vagcom will not also put more options in maxidot?

Correct - enabling the features (that are already there) will not add the options to Maxidot.
