Re: Miltek exhaust question

The exhaust was released but has since been withdrawn and is going to be redeveloped which I believe is due to start today.

JKM of Portsmouth are suppliers.

If you try a search I suspect you may happen across a couple of owners with Milltek parts but I only know of one full system.

What needs re-developing? Why was it withdrawn?

Re: Miltek exhaust question

Is there any other exhausts that I could look at that give a decent power boost on a re-mapped VRS 2 ?

Re: Miltek exhaust question

I'll stick my neck out and say I'm not sure there are any gains to be had over the stock which seems to be pretty good. The cat may release a little bit but I've seen some REVO graphs the show a MKV Golf which loses power with the turbo back.

Re: Miltek exhaust question

I have Revo Stage 2 with a custom 70mm exhaust. I have some fuel cut issues (not from software) that came from exhaust. When i change the middle muffler to a more restrictive one problem solved but also -20whp (from 233whp drop to 213whp). At these days we are trying to find out whats really going on (its not software i tried 3 different companies). The strange think is that the problem is not on every Octavia but on some. One might say that my car has a problem, but we changed every single part that might had to do with this error with no results. Its defenitely the exhaust and thats why i think miltec is holding on sales..

Re: Miltek exhaust question

when accelerate full throttle, from 3d gear and after i feel the car shaking a bit and boost pressure reading on gauge drops and raise like crazy. Ive logged with vag-om and see no errors just boost cut and closing the throttle body when this happen. Now i have cured this by installing a 60mm middle muffler and by the week i 'll a more sofisticated exhaust ready

Re: Miltek exhaust question

That sounds like a problem that I know one Octy II owner and one Leon owner are suffering at the moment. That seems to be created by the addition of a replacement air intake system.
