| Hi all, Picked up my new vRS yesterday and had the dubious pleasure of driving it this evening in very thick fog. Strangely my RHS headlight beam seemed to have a quadrant of beam "missing" in the fog from roughly the straight ahead to 15-20 degrees to the right? After that the beam seemed to resume? Any ideas what this might be? Car has xenons and the only thing I can think of is that the continental beam adaptor lever has been accidentally knocked into some kind of mid-way position when they wound the beams up to their legal highest (as per my request) when prepping the car for me? Would this produce this effect or is there anything else that would? My Fabia vRS has xenons too and they are consistent across the front of the car, not like these? (BTW - Nice 55 plate Fabia vRS for sale now in black magic with xenons, heated seats and sunroof - PM for more details if interested - proper ad going up soon!) |

| Re: Missing headlight beam?! They didn't wind one of the headlights out by accident did they? they can of course be adjusted left and right as well as up and down, the adjustment nuts are close to each other and easy to get mixed up. I would have a look at the position of the projector units. If one of them appears to be looking off to the left/right it might be incorrectly adjusted. They should be looking roughly straight ahead. Failing that it could be a faulty unit.
