| MP3's in new Stream head - seems to be skipping I've a new Octy (56 plate, Nov delivery) and have played some MP3's in the head unit. I've just put a new one in, and it seems to "skip" on some tracks. Actually it leaves a little pause in places. It just seems to be this CD though. It plays fine in a couple of computers at work, but not in the Octavia. Anyone else had this? Does anyone know if there is a problem with certain MP3 bit rates being played back (most of mine are ripped at 256KB). Is this something to take to a dealer to look at, or am I just being stupid in thinking they will care? I'll try recutting the CD tonight, but as it plays fine in a couple of other machines, I cant see that the problem lies there. Thanks, Neil |

| Re: MP3's in new Stream head - seems to be skipping It could be the speed the CD was written at, or the actual tracks themselves. Your idea of a new copy of the CD may help to pin that down. |
