Re: My New CR VRS

Thanks guys
SWMBO chose the colour
I've had a black and loved that colour
So time for a change

But its was tom-vrs and barnstomers pics that got us both into the red

Very early days but I think this Common Rail engine will be a peach
I hope plenty of power can be squeezed out of it

Re: My New CR VRS

You should get 220 horse out of the CR engine with minimal hardware mods (I'm talking exhaust, intercooler etc).

Looks well in the red, though I must say every red car I've had has faded horribly (Fords and Vauxhalls).

Re: My New CR VRS

Looks spot on that

Whereabouts in Manchester are you? I'll keep an eye out - any Brisky stickers on yet?

Could well be tempted by one just like that 2nd hand in a few years.

Enjoy!

Steve

I'm actually in the same little town as Awsome if you know it

I was at their RR day (in the C-MAX) and the Detailed VW yesterday aft for an hour (in mine)

Can't get my SWMBO out of it, and back into her C-Max at the Mo

Nice looking car there!! You can't beat the feeling of a new car! Kinda wish I had a different colour car...but then once you wash it...you can't beat black for the next 5 mins!

I'm just down the road from you..inside of the M60! Should be popping out to the local tesco extra there today Will keep an eye out for you!

Re: My New CR VRS

Good stuff - not far from either

Don't see that many Mk2 vRSes around at all. And the vast majority I do spot are 2.0T.

Re: My New CR VRS

yea that might be to do with them all being 2.0T

im assuming your refering to the Petrol TFSi? being an owner of one i seem to the see nothing but PD170's, yet to see a CR170

Re: My New CR VRS

Goodness, how pedantic

Yes, I was referring to the TFSi. If I'd have meant the diesel I would have said 2.0TDi but I suppose you weren't to know that....

Go on then, how will you tell when they drive past, if its a PD170 or a CR 170
