New Car & Old Car Pics

Picked this up this morning and boy oh boy this is one helluva car!!. Can't tell you how excited I was, I was like being 8yrs old at Christmas all over again.

There have been plenty of reviews on here about this car and I'm not going to harp on about it's virtues, but what I will say that the MkI Octy VRS was/is a very good car and a pleasure to own but initial impressions on the MkII Octy VRS are something else!. A few piccy's of new and old as promissed.

PS. For those of you have placed an order for one and are waiting for delivery I am absolutely positive you won't be dissapointed!. It's well worth the wait.

About time you updated that signature then tiger!!

Looks great mate, looking forward to seeing it. I had a quick look at a blue one in Sparshatts showroom on Monday while I was waiting.

You swapped an estate for a hatch :o

If you look carefully the old one is looking at the new one in a jealous fashion

Lucky man, it looks great. I really need to order one myself. Sitting against the old model, it makes the 'Octy I' look very dated in shape. What extras did you go for and was you able to get any freebies as part of the deal.

It looks so much bigger! And I hate to say it but it kinda makes the Mk1 look old fashioned

I think the camera angle has exagerated the difference in size, but you are right to say that the new car is bigger all round. Interior space seems significantly improved and looking again at the pics and in particular the one with my fat ar5e in it the MkI Octy does look small!.

Edit: Have a look at the difference in size of the front grille and the dimension between the headlights, it's significantly bigger!!.

MK1 is so out of date now look at those pics!! Going to have to persuade parents to scrapyard the old octy 4x4 and get a mk2 of some form!
