Want to know price, engine, performance, what it looks like, basically anything. All I know at the moment is the expected date.

Anything you can tell me would be great.

So far all information on the vRS is purely rumour. Some more informed than others.

They are making 2 Octavia VRS's.

1) 2.0TDi 16v PD (170bhp)

2) 2.0FSi 8v (200bhp)

As for prices, the diesel is going to be more expensive, but I think the FSi will be a shade under Ł17,000.

I reckon it'll be quick alright, with the diesel having some serious tuning potential, I don't see 200bhp being a problem.

It will have 17" alloys standard, but all first UK spec cars (Demos) will be coming with 18" alloys.

That's all I know.

The FSi is a 16v engine not 8v.

Has VW actually approved production of a new 200BHP vRS? Or is this all just speculation?

We won't know any details befire the official launch. Skoda's hardly going to release details to us lot a few months before the official press launch, are they? I think a sticky saying "No we don't know anything about the vRS so stop asking" would be good.

Similar to what I ghad in mind however that does not seem to have come into fruition, and its not sticky afaik, but on the correct lines, just need staff to sort it out ;-)
