Re: New VRS will Blue become common ?

I think initialy a lot of people will go for th Blue - becuase it's different, but I suspect after a while and especialy once the yellow is released it will settle down.

I chose the blue simply becuase I didnt want another black one

Have to agree, far too many silver/black/red/blue cars around these days..

To me yellow says, I have a Skoda and I'm damn proud !!

Re: New VRS will Blue become common ?

I think initially, early sales will be mainly blue, as thats the advertised car's colour. I have seen 3 Focus ASBO's this week, all orange. Fabias, older ones are mainly black.

I personally like blue, but test drive dependant, as to wether I would change my fabia, I would probably go Yellow or Black.

Re: New VRS will Blue become common ?

Sorry in advance for upsetting everyone,but..

Black for me

Blue is just, well, normal in a sierra gls kind of way.

Yellow is the opposite.A colour that stands out too much.People just see 'yellow' and not the car.

Silver (my current colour) nice but not nice on the new one as too common.

Red.Hmmm.Maybe.Would have to see one in red.Amazing how colour changes the look of a car.

Sorry,sorry,sorry. but

Black black black

Re: New VRS will Blue become common ?

I've gone for a blue one because;

1. I've had too many silver cars.
2. I don't like red.
3. The only yellow car sshould be a Volvo T5 Wagon with the anthracite wheels.
4. I like the black but a) They are bitch to clean b) The wagon would look like a hearse in black.

I do think the blue will be popular though.....

Re: New VRS will Blue become common ?

Wanted Yellow, but not available yet. So probably blue. Think it should be exclusive like the Focus ST orange.IE you see the color and it says what car it is.
I would have thought the rally green as on fabia rally cars, would have looked good, if they did it.

Re: New VRS will Blue become common ?

Yellow Yellow & Yellow, had a proper yellow colour MG ZS and it looked great, fed up with the dirty black now, and the old yellow well wasn't a proper yellow IMO, soory to those who had the 'yellow' vrs.

Will this ever happen?

It would be nice to see another colour option before the end of the run...

Re: New VRS will Blue become common ?

I've seen blue and black so far, and preferred the black one out of the two.
But as mentioned above, you really have to see all colours in the flesh to finally decide. And what suits the hatch may not be right for the estate.

I do love the blue that it is advertised in....probably why they chose that colour for the adverts!! different cars do suit different colours though, I think the old octy RS suited silver.

Would agree there, my boss has recently bought a Mk1 vRS in Silver -- it look's fantastic,

I don't think the new vRS is going to look that good in Silver, not sure why ?

Re: New Octavia vRS - will blue become common ?

Wings in Peterborough have just taken delivery of two. One for test drives and another for the showroom.

Now I like blue cars, and I'm not that struck on cleaning them, although I'm getting better. So last week it would have been blue for me without a seconds thought.

But, having seen a blue one and a black one side by side, it just has to be black. Just somehow looks more menacing...
