New Vrs Diesel?

A mate of mine has just put a deposit on a new Octy Vrs diesel for November. I didn't know they had announced a new Vrs at all let alone a diesel. Is this common knowledge?

last I heard is that you can preorder in Novemebr that was told to me in Feb/March b4 I got my vRS although I would be a bit dubious to put a deposit on something I had not yet seen.

In late April I was told by a dealer that they had just ordered their demonstrators of the new Octy vRS. They were expecting them before the end of the year I think.

If you talk nicely to Skoda, they might give you some more information on the new vRS. (Petrol, Diesel and 4x4...oops did I let something out of the bag?)

Let the rumour mill start up again....
