New wheels

Hi all, I bought an Octavia a couple of weeks ago after 3 years of owning a Fabia and I am trying to decide which wheels would suit best,
These are the wheels I'm thinking of buying:

€850 with tyres just in case you were wondering
and these are the Skoda OEM wheels that came with the car

Thanks for your opinions

Re: New wheels

What wheels do you have on there at the moment?

The second ones IMHO look very very similar to the stock 16" elegance wheels.

That would explain why they look like the originals then

I guess it depends on what you like, have you seen the 17" ones that come with the sport suspension. I really like the look of them

If you do change the wheels for new ones I could be interested in buying one alloy in good condition should you sell them. IIRC the car has 5 alloys as the spare is too

Standard fit/spec means 5 allys.

Optional, ie 17", means 4 allys and a steel spare

I didn't think the Vega's came in 17" size. I thought the only upgrade where the Pegasus alloys with Sports suspension?

Re: New wheels

The first set you are looking at are not too different from my alloys (Audi S-line ones) so this might give you more idea what a 5-spoke wheel looks like on the car....

Re: New wheels

The originals do look like Vegas but without the bolt cover plate. On the other hand they do appear to have a badge and could therefore be Orion. But the Orion was 15".

I like to 5 spoke ones but just to confirm, you have 16" wheels at present, yes?

Do you want to stick to 16" or upgrade to 17" or even 18"?
