Noisy Octi 2 rs suspension

Hi All,
I need some technical help with a suspension query please.
I am driving a 5 month old Rs with 5k on the clock. It has developed a loud hissing noise with a slight scraping/ squeaking from the front passenger side suspension.

I notice it when I am travelling slowly over slightly bumpy ground, or when mounting or dismounting speed ramps. It is definetly getting worse with every week that goes by.

I have mentioned it to my dealer and he said he is going to change out the Anti-Roll bar bushings firstly to see if this will cure it. I can't fault the dealership, but I feel the problem lies with a faulty shock absorber or spring.

I would really appreciate any help with this problem guys

Re: Noisy Octi 2 rs suspension

I had the car back to the dealer. They decided to lube up the ARB bushing to see if it was causing the noise. One gentle press on the passenger side of the car, and the noise was still there.

They have agreed with me that the noise is coming from the shock and have decided to replace both shocks on the front. So, hopefully by this day next week it will all be resolved.
