| Oct II VRS Front Grill Replacement Hi all, I’ve got a new Octavia VRS in Silver and am looking at replacing the black plastics front grills with something. What have people done to their’s and what would you do if you could do it again? Was thinking of stainless, maybe. Cheers, jsstevo |

| Re: Oct II VRS Front Grill Replacement I've done this ![]() and it is documented here courtesy of VRStu Octavia-vRS.com - Colour Coded Grille Lots have been documented but in silver the colour-coded grilles would look good.

| Re: Oct II VRS Front Grill Replacement I really cannot stand the grille on the Octavia its such a queer shape. Nothing will really make it look right IMO but I think maybe the best option is to paint it like Hedge's, or get an after market one like Milotec. I also have a silver vRS but I'm gonna live with it as it is.

| Re: Oct II VRS Front Grill Replacement I'm thinking fo doing the Milotc one;- 6340401 Sports grille for RS bumper (3-part) Frame: ABS black, grille: stainless steel TÜV free For model: Skoda Octavia II RS sedan as from 11/05 -> Skoda Octavia II RS estate as from 11/05 -> Pics can be seen here;- Milotec "Auto-Extras" go to Octavia II, then sports grill & bumper. but sticking to the black lower grill and keeping the side 'air scoops' in plain black also (on a Red vRS). I think the chrome/colour coded version is a bit too 'max power'. Last edited by bahnstormer vrs; 11-04-2007 at 08:22. |

| Re: Oct II VRS Front Grill Replacement It's not 'chavvy' to change the front grill from black plastic to stainless. I think it makes it look less cheap and more classy! jsstevo |

| Re: Oct II VRS Front Grill Replacement Thinking of the pic above (Race Blue with colour coded OE grills) - a pair of 'mirrored' indicator bulbs would look good IMHO, takes away the orange look to the indicator lens and makes it clear. |
