Now Dave, if you'd thought about it, you would have posted this in the NEW Octavia section.

And the answer is no of course. Rhetorical Q.

Re: The Octavia section.

Wahahahahaha Yeah post it in the right forum you shifty you

Us Furby lot can get very sensitive and Mk1 Octy owners may feel insulted with the polution of a Mk2 in 'their parts' of the wood

Must admit I'm looking forward to seeing some cool posts about the tuning you no doubt will end up with, over time (less than a month I reckon )

Wrong forum

but yes, it is better. Better handling, bigger, faster, less common, nicer to be in and drive.

Well, it's no faster than mine at the moment, neither would i say it handled better, as yet. But I suppose i didn't say discuss it against mine did I.

It is nicer to be in and drive though, by a large margin.

The esp certainly makes it safer regarding handling, and in fact, I should retract all of the bad things I have said about esp, having fully tested it.

Re: The Octavia section.

It's strange, all this waiting around and tracking it through the docks, then the country. Can you imagine buying a dozen eggs at Tesco and saying "Yeah, there at the farm now, hey they're on the lorry, nearly here........" !!!

I was lucky, my FSI was sitting around at Milton Keynes and was sourced. Don't know if it was a cancelled order or what but it only took 10 days, and that was mostly waiting for a transporter.

Soon to become "Yeah, they're at the farm now, hey they're on the lorry..... damn, theres bird flu up the road so they're stuck in a 2mile exclusion zone waiting for a transit permit"

LandRover fit beacons to their vehicles very early on in production so at any time before it leaves the plant it can be loacted. Wouldnt' it be cool if they were carried through to delivery and you could find to info on the web

If you are referring to my sig then I’m sorry if it rankles you, it was just meant as a light hearted way of me passing the time, waiting for ‘Octo’. But don’t worry, it will be removed very shortly and if the car is not ready for March I shall be removing myself from this forum as well and telling Horners Bury, what they can do with the car.
