| Octavia Weight Loss? Hey all, i was looking at stats and see the Octy is over 1500KG! quite heavy!, i know its a big car etc, just wondering if there is anyway to lose some weight without stripping out the interior? guess the spare wheel would be about it?

| Briskodian | Re: Octavia Weight Loss? Other than Spare wheel, maybe try lighter alloys, removing false floor in boot, and that's about it. If take spare out, would you need a that reinflate gel that you put into punctures? |

Seriously; there isn't much that you can do other than strip out all the electronic gadgets you have paid loads for or, ... replace a load of parts with lightweight stuff i.e. alloy or carbon fibre that will just cost you an arm and a leg and the other arm. Basically, be grateful for what you have got that it is comfortable, safe and performs quite well or .... ...... buy a Caterham or Westfield - now they are lightweight!
