| Re: Octy 2.0TDi Recall - Flywheel When I bought mine at the beginning of July this year at 64K I notice a knocking sound and it was confirmed that it was the DMF yesterday, at the beginning of August I called the last place that serviced it and they said mine had a new DMF and clutch fitted at 44k, in April last year I have contacted Skoda customer care and informed them of the knocking 3 days after I bought the car as the Renault dealer I got it from did not want to know. Would I now be charged for having it replaced again,, also have they now got an upgraded one they can now fit. If they decide that they will fit a new one under warranty could I get them to put the single flywheel kit in instead

| Briskodian | Re: Octy 2.0TDi Recall - Flywheel Does anyone know (have an opinion) if the 1.9tdi 4x4 will suffer the same problems with the clutch/gearbox if the inevitable DMF goes? I admit I am a complete novice in understanding the complexities of the 4x4/quattro/4motion system. |
