Octy Diesel Sport what rate of road tax?

Didn't receive my road tax renewal reminder this month, like so many others apparently. But being a law abiding citizen off I went to the local Post Office, presented my registration document and paid my £110 which is in line with the 'C' validation on the reg document.

I have just taken a look at governments website which clearly states the 2 litre 140 bhp Octavia Sport is group D so should be £135 per year. Has it changed or has someone made a mistake some where?

The emissions rating may have changed since your car was built. The Fabia vRS started off with emissions of 135 gm/km and the revised gearbox increased it to 146 gm/km - still the same tax group, but only just.

When they looked the CO2 details up for my octy 2.0tdi when I was ordering it they thought it would be £135 , but when they actually bought the tax disk it came out at £110 which is less than my old 1.9 tdi!
