Me too !

When is it released here?

I'm in half a mind to cancel my search for an A3 in anticipation of one of these!

Re: Octy Scout - latest pics

Available to order in April according to the website.

How much do you reckon a 9 month old Elegance TDI is worth as a trade in

I like it. The plastic bits aren't as overbearing as the street-whatsit or the XC-70 (hideous thing, that) or even the Allroad.

Know what you mean - but at least the Octy has 4wd...unlike that Rover.

Re: Octy Scout - latest pics

Looks GOOD and certainly MUCH better than an Allroad or XC-90. Unlikely to be seen in 'Chelsea Tractor' mode but will be a great buy where the 4 x 4 is required.

It comes out much better in the Red as opposed to the Silver. The bold colour provides a contrast to the dark grey bumpers etc whereas the silver blends too much.

Personal taste of course.

Not sure about the large grab handle under the glove box - it's not as if you need to pull yourself in...

I've just come back form the Czech Rep, and having driven this car on and off road, I am pleased to say that I'm more impressed than I thought I would be, it's fantastic.

Re: Octy Scout - latest pics

There was a piece about it in the paper today which caught my eye. I think I like it, and I'm sure Mr P will love it. Anyone know when Dealers are expecting a demo?

Re: Octy Scout - latest pics

I think the Skoda scouts are going to do pretty well, the Roomster scout is a very nice looking car IMO and the Octavia scout is very well specced, should be a winner.

Once they do the Octy scout in L&K spec i'll have one

Re: Octy Scout - latest pics

Looks good, but it really needs a double exit exhaust. Looks kind of weird with that blank on one side and the exhaust on the other.

Re: Octy Scout - latest pics

Similar 'zorsts to the Audi Allroad, maybe the powers that be have said no to that one.

Ants, can you be a bit more specific? How did it ride and handle on tarmac? That ride height would suggest lots of body roll and a bouncy ride...but presumably not?
