| Octy Tdi...100+mpg today :) ok I was driving on the a55 with the wnd behind me at 40 mph...but hey ![]() Actually quite liking this New Octavia, quite nice to leave chester with 110 miles on the clock, see that the M56 is staionary, scoot round the south of Chester to out past flint, then back to North Warrington and still have a 90 miles left estimate. Oh for the record, olympic burgers at little chefs are flipping huge, so always read the menu.

| Re: Octy Tdi...100+mpg today :) ho hum wonder if the diesel place has blown away :~)It is actually quite good, I was concerned at the lack of whats the phrase, overtakeabilityness of it.

| Re: Octy Tdi...100+mpg today :) Not yet, 5 day evaluation. You see, I was out dragged by a 1.2 clio, now since I've got a 1.4 I was a it concerned by this turn of events. Turns out 2 coils had failed, so I've taken an oil burner to see how it went...and I'm still chuffed with the handling of it, considering it's meant to be a bog std 1.9pd, basic spec, but it goes well enough round corners in the wet for now... ![]() So, isit a brevo, e class, octy dsg or fsi...a few more evaluations to go yet, the A6 s line is a whole lump of toys and no handbrake, just a iccle window switch, most entertaining ![]()

No more handbrake turn though...and you do have to find a car park with decent space. If somebody park just over then end of the space behind, I find the front stick outs quite some way. ![]()
