Octy VRs & dashboard indicators

Can anyone tell me whether the VRs should have the following dashboard indicators:

- Windscreen washer fluid low
- Cruise control on

Mine has neither but I don't know whether it is due to a fault. The washer fluid indicator, I assume, is standard on all octavias; and on most new cars come to that.

The cruise control on indicator has symbol on the speedo dial I think but it doesn't come on.

Can someone with a VRs tell me please?

Thanks

Your washer fluid sensor must be broken, should alert thru Maxidot.
My cruise controll light if i have any has never shown itself so maybe there isnt any.

Re: Octy VRs & dashboard indicators

The cruise control light only works if you have an 07 model Octy (ie June 2006 onwards factory build)

Re: Octy VRs & dashboard indicators

Maybe - all I know is that in June Skoda announced it was a new feature. Either your car was produced before June, or, as with many things, whether or not it works is dependent on the country.

Re: Octy VRs & dashboard indicators

There is a light for cruise control on new Octy's? That'd be cool - where does it show? Mine's going to be an 07 model so with any luck it'll have this feature then!

Re: Octy VRs & dashboard indicators

As per the original post in this thread - it's within the speedo.

See this thread for more details on the light.
