Default Performance upgrades - warranty friendly

With a birthday coming up and little or no inspiration for presents I am looking to start adding to my Octavia TFSI VRS a little earlier than planned. I still have 1 year of Skoda Warranty left and am waiting (forced to by SWMBO) until that expires before a re-map. My question would therefore be what can I do that is warranty friendly.

I have searched the forums and have a pipercross filter on the list but so far little else. I have very basic knowledge on my subject (ie the car and how it works) so would need somthing an 'idiot' could install / do. Budget could be upto a couple of hundred pound.

Ideas very welcome please.

Tricky one really, as technically any modifications will render the warranty void for any parts of the car that are affected by the modification...

You could possibly do an MFD2 for that and or Phatbox.
Both of which will ensure your warranty remains intact.

I think performance wise you will be limited.

How about a Forge DV and a neuspeed or ecs dog-bone insert?

Spend your 'couple of hundred pounds' on a Performance Driving course, something like this;-

Ride Drive Ltd UK, High Performance Advanced Driving Course, Advanced Driver Development

SWMBO could always go with you and you then both get the benefit of something that is definitely warranty friendly.

Think of it this way; It ain't what you drive but the way that you drive it.
