| Briskodian | RS oil use follow up Got my RS back today from service (3000km post purchase freebie) After having to take it back at 1140km with a low oil warning, they did a consumption test (aka took out the dip stick) to reveal at least half the oil they filled it with was gone after a mere 2000km. Starting to wonder what the "F" did they sell me. they have asked VW australia who have commented that this is rather excessive, and will get back to the service guy tomorrow with a possible explanation. Anyone have an idea why so much oil use? They did offer that piston 4 spark plug was a bit oiled up pointing to a possible faulty oil valve in the cylinder, "correct? " Let me know if anyone has a similar experience. 2.0 TFSI Octavia II |
