Seat Covers

Has anyone found front seat covers for octy m2 (A5)?, have tried lots of places and although it said for that and other models they did not fit, mainly as the straps would not go under the plastic side trims.

Re: Seat Covers

If your car has side air bags in the seats be very careful that any seat covers you buy will enable an air bag to deploy if you are unfortunate enough to have an accident.

Re: Seat Covers

Hi
Seems there are seat covers on offer from Skoda. We were shown some when we picked up the car today. Many to choose from, cost would about 25pounds sterling a set so we understand. Seats have to be removed to put them on.

Thumbs up Re: Seat Covers

Thanks SOLDATOY,when i asked our dealer he said no, however as you say the seats have to come and if so the Lidle ones at £10.99 will do and they say they are suitable for airbags, how i do not know.Next question is that when the seat has been taken out does those side plastic mouldings come off so the sea covers can be tied around the seat and not over the plastic trima and there cubby holes?.

Re: Seat Covers

Hi

Update, we have today had Skoda seat covers fitted , and as you will see from pics airbags are allowed for. The seats were completely taken out, covers fitted. Ahttp://www.jones.hr/airbag_slot_04.jpg http://www.jones.hr/airbag_slot_03.jpg http://www.jones.hr/airbag_slot_02.jpg http://www.jones.hr/airbag_slot_01.jpg s car is only 14days old, we thought it best to protect orig seats. Our car is on a lease so it suited us to do this. Pics are looking forward from back door to front seat. Hope that helps.

Hi

Just a closer pic of the fabric where air bag would appear.

Re: Seat Covers

Hi "Fortyfirs" yes when we picked car up on very first day, wife requested seat covers ( as car is on a lease) . We were handed a fabric book from Skoda dealer , chose out fabric and within a week , they arrived and were fitted. Nothing had to be measured, as they are for the Octavia or whatever model.

The photo is not that good as there is no speckle in the fabric, that is a trick of the light I think. More like a darker grey soft look. . We are in Zagreb Croatia.

Re: Seat Covers
