| Briskodian | Second hand TFSi VRs collected today Hello Collected my "high miles" second had Vrs today and so far it's great. 06 with 60k (I know that's lots but only I know and it saves the money!) Met Blue with Xenons, Climate and Jumbo, Sunroof, Parking Sensors, Maxidot,Cruise and 18" wheels. I do have a couple of questions. It has climate but only front electric windows. I though you always got 4 electrics with climate. Makes me wonder if it's an import although I don't think it can be as it was sold with the full warranty from new at a Skoda franchise Secondly it has maxidot which certainly looks better than the ordinary display. However I've seen threads about it being able to do loads of other things like display the Radio, alter the door closing set up etc. I can't seem to get it to do that. It only seems to display the same info as the standard display but in a more up market way. Am I missing something Thanks Pleased Vrs owner! |

| Re: Second hand TFSi VRs collected today I thought you should have 4 leccy wndows with duel zone climate as well There are other options you can access with the menu on the maxidot, but on earlier cars (prior to the revision) these are limited, you are best off checking the manual.Just being nosey, how much did you pay?

| Briskodian | Re: Second hand TFSi VRs collected today Thanks. Maxidot isn't the main reason to buy so I won't be devistaed if I can't do all the extras. The main reason was the colour and the extras which new would have been nearly £3k but second hand don't add much. Difficult to say exactly how much I paid as there was part ex and the "over allowing" that some garages do to boost your ego whilst then reducing the figure on the invoice (I don't understand maybe a tax thing!) but they put on the invoice £8,800 which was around £800 off the forecourt figure. I think it was a good deal even with the miles for a one owner in the best colour (IMO!). Anyway I'm happy (after one day!) so that's great. |

| Re: Second hand TFSi VRs collected today We demand pictures! Sounds like a nice car, and I wouldn't worry about the high miles. If it's been well cared for, it'll be fine.

| Briskodian | Re: Second hand TFSi VRs collected today I like it! I had an Alfa GT JTD before and people have said "why change an Alfa for a Skoda" Well the Alfa was lovely but a) the Skoda is much much better put together and B) It handles much much better plus there is the fun of some people still saying Skodas are rubbish what this lovely car? I can the say "It's a Skoda!!!!" and watch their faces. The only thing I wasn't looking forward to was the Radio nad Dad has a new shape 04 Elegnace and frankly that radio is "pants" . However I was pleasantly suprsied. This one is pretty good. Is the 06 Vrs radio any different from the 04 Elegance. I thought they were the same but this is 100% better. |

| Re: Second hand TFSi VRs collected today sounds like you got a bargin there... I never worry about high miles, as long as they are serviced properly, there shouldn't be a problem.....
