Re: Skoda Phone Kit

I have a skoda fit car kit, it's not bluetooth and to be honest its pretty poor, above 40mph no-one can hear me, there is a lot of feedback if turned up to hear it, the make I have is Elan.

Re: Skoda Phone Kit

I have a Nokia 6230i with the CK-7w - bluetooth and cradle for charging. Excellent quality.

If you get the correct VAG mute lead you can control the volume of the car speakers with both the stereo and steering wheel.

Can't remember how much it was supplied and fitted (around £200)
can post pics if needed.... as the kit comes with a control button to answer / voice dial and control volume (again) not sure why i need 3 ways to control the volume!

Re: Skoda Phone Kit

The Skoda ones are limited by the number of cradles on offer.

Europe get a bluetooth option as does SEAT in the UK.

Use a Nokia kit

Nokia do some quite neat amp/speaker units that fit into the cigar lighter. I have used one for the last few years with the phone held in a cup mounted on a third party Octavia mounting plate. Works very well and is transferable between cars and phones.

Currently using it with a 3510i in a MK 2 Elegance.
