| Briskodian | speedo in-accurate. Statement: My speedo isn't accurate above about 35mph!! It indicates 70mph at about 66mph (GPS verified). I know this is normal. At 2500 RPM according to the final drive ratio I should be doing 70mph. Final drive in the 1.9 TDI is 28mph per 1000 rpm (2.5*28 = 70) ) this is correct (GPS verified). Question: What is the RPM to speed ratio for the other 4 gears ? (and reverse ) I've tried the manual, and a quick look here, probably missed it though....a kind and gentle shove in the right direction appreciated. |
