Default sunroof and climate

Been thinking about an RS but not anytime soon. I always have had sunroofs in my sporty hatches and feel that it’s a must in the next car I buy.

Is it a bit much having both the sunroof with climate? I have climate in the Passat but these days prefer to have the window down. Its good with the kids though in the car.

Silver RS with climate, sunroof and 18s is the way that I would go I think.

I have sunroof and climate on my car.

I love it - I can get my bald spot (OK, whole head before some smart alec chips in ) browned without boiling the rest of my body

I just had climate on my previous car and my current car has both a sunroof and climate as standard. The only time the sunroof gets used is to get rid of some the heat when the car has been sat in the sun to help the climate control out. It does also brighten up the car a bit, but would I pay extra for it? No

My 4x4 has both as standard and I make use of both. I generally use climate but in the summer it's nice to get the windows down and sunroof open to 'feel' the sun. It's also nice to have the extra 'window' to let more light in.

I have both in my Mk1 octy and made sure I got a sunroof as an option on the Mk2 I've ordered.

The sunroof helps a lot with rapidly cooling the car when it's parked , makes the interior a lot lighter , and when you want fresh as opposed to processed air I prefer having a sunroof open than the windows which create more turbulence

I agree with the views above and would have both on a new car if I could afford it. Meanwhile my 4X4 has both.

Havn't had a sunroof for quite some time now and although I don't miss it it would be nice to have although like ScoobyChris stated, I wouldn't want to pay the extra for it!.

If you order the sunroof with the vRS, do you lose the sunglasses holder???

had both in my mk1 and only climate in the mk2. don't miss the sunroof - in fact the extra heat and glare was annoying. Climate cools a hot cabin down very quickly.

I have climate and no sunroof. I can't say I miss it really. Being able to remotely lower all the car windows is good enough for rapidly cooling the car on a warm day plus sunroofs are heavy. It all adds up.

I have both, I'd nearly rather a sunroof than the climate. We wait all year for good weather then shut all the windows. Maybe if I used my car more, ie city driving etc I'd use the climate more.

we have both on both cars, tend to use windows and roof more in summer as breeze is nicer and it saves fuel! That and i think the sunroof is nice and flash

Would of loved the Sunroof as an option but not at the Skoda Price other options I felt were better value. The thing I miss a sunroof for being tall is the extra light and aireness it gives the car. If that's how you spell air-e-ness?

My current octy has the sunroof and the climate control, the only time the sunroof is opened is to make sure my ladders are still intact after some vigorous driving.

New one doesnt have one, will I miss it? probably not although I have a nice little angle grinder in the shed which might get some Top Gear style action
