Default time to replace octy mk1 vrs

its time to replace my mk1 vrs which is remapped to 232bhp. I love this car, still enjoy driving it every day. however the missus has decided to breed again (ok i did have something to do with it.) and we are finding the mk 1 a bit tight on leg room especially. i have checked out the mk 2 octy and it seems alot better on leg room.. (i am 6.2 and so is my son who is 15). With my sensible head i have test driven a 2.0 tdi dsg elegance estate, ticks all the boxes, however i have decided i need leather hence l&k. but should i have a petrol or diesel vrs more fun (but no leather) briskodians please disscuss.

I looked at the new vRS, but in the end bought a 2.0TDi Elegance. Do I miss the leather, no not really.

You could get the elegance and spec leather although I am unsure what that does to the total cost.

Blow the budget on a new vRS & a remap, that way you'll keep the family happy + the smile on your face

I drove someone's remapped Mk 2 vRS today - it blew my socks off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I drove a remapped MK 1 a couple or 3 years back and the difference between standard and remap was nothing like as pronounced.

To quote: "You will do a sex wee"

I very nearly did...

Leather is a £1500 option including heated seats on the Octy II elegance las i looked.

The VRS gets part leather with some silly mesh stuff in it.

Pjo Has a nice 2.0Fsi Elegance est with leather in black looks really nice,150bhp.

Put then again a remapped Vrs is very appealing, how about a trip to Seat surgeons for a little leather work
