| Just bought a new octavia 1.6 MPI Does anyone have any problems with the trunk button on Remote Control? Mine doesn't work, does it just unlocks the trunk or does it spring it open? |

| On the estate it opens a tad, but you need to hold the button on the remote a sec. A tap on the button won't open it.

| You have probably worked out that you press and hold the fob for a few seconds for the boot to release, you then have 3-4 seconds when you can just lift the boot up, leave it longer than that and you have to squeeze the release catch on the boot. That said, I think I'm correct in saying there was a Skoda bulletin regarding the boot release where some were not aligned correctly but that was last year so if yours is new it should'nt have that issue. | Yep there is an issue that your dealer should be aware of.
