| Trying to stop water coming in By fitting these: ?koda Accessories Every time i have the window open slightly when its raining i always get a flood of water coming in and soaking the top of the doorcard in side and also my arm.(i know shut the window but fresh air is always better) Would these help the problem or just look odd? Does anyone else have this problem?

| Briskodian | Re: Trying to stop water coming in You can get away with 1-2 inches open window using those, but they look bad. My dad has those on his car, and I'd gladly rip them off.

| Re: Trying to stop water coming in They make your car look like a taxi cab. Oh, hang on. ![]() They do work well - I don't mind them, but a lot of other people hate the look of them.

| Re: Trying to stop water coming in I have had them on a truck and yes they do a great job, the window can be down to the bottom of the deflector without rain coming in. They are a simple DIY fit, there are types that bolt on (not those by the look of it) stick on with sticky foam - this is what the Skoda ones would do at a guess, or just fit behind the window rubber. |

| Re: Trying to stop water coming in Yes DIY...A super sticky 3M strip that fits to the door frame. The deflectors are a smokey brown colour. I will be putting some upto date pics on the site soon, as I have fitted a Shark Fin (fantastic reception) and this week will be getting a tailgate spoiler fitted. |

| Re: Trying to stop water coming in Well iam in 2 minds to do it or not. My car is Metallic Flamenco Red so would be very noticeable i think so this is whats putting me off. They are not exactly discreet things ![]() Maybe just put up with the rain coming in.My Mk1 never done this.
