Default VRS brakes

I picked up my new vrs today and I have to say, I love it!

The dealer told me that they are replacing the green calipers with red ones. Is this true and what you all think?

First I've heard of that although a demo model on an exhibition stand in Geneva had red brake callipers .
I thought the whole purpose of the green is because of Skoda's rallying heritage?.

It's absolutely true Starting from wk22 MY2007 ! Check this on www.skoda.at : ***Bremssättel rot lackiert*** Or in plain English: red painted calipers !

This scentence is on the carconfigurator on te Austrian Skoda website where they already work with the 2007 configurator....

The one thing that people say to me when I show them the RS is what is the story with the green calipers!! Personally I think they will look better in red........

paa red is so bloody common, mistake in my mind.

That said I don't care now there is a 2.0l oil burner rs

I must get myself a test drive of that.

Should be green calipers, it sets the brand apart from Nova red.

Maybe it's cheaper to share a pot of red with Seat?
