What about getting the ones available in the UK, they looked the business. May be hassle but at least the job would be done properly.

I do hope that you are not inferring that Irish workers wouldn't do the job properly.......... Dnager of discrimination here (according to SWIMBO, who's Dublin, Irish, by the way!

You wouldn't, being Irish yourself now would you?

An' all!

I'm not entirely saying they wouldn't do it properly, but at the end of a day the results of what they have done in UK can be seen, its obviously the proper job when its shown on Skoda UK's website so you know what your getting.
eg like getting aftermarket reversing sensors, obviously not as tidy as the real deal.

At the end of the day I wouldn't be risking my new seats for someone to try there hand at it .

What I meant was, I have been in a lot of "Republic of Ireland" Skoda dealers and I have never seen or heard of this option until I joined this site. I figured that if it was a UK dealer thing, there might be covers pre-manufactured with a part number attached and therefore it would be quicker(and safer) than leaving my car into a upholsterer to be the first Octavia that he has done. Irish craftsmanship is among the best in the world !! By the way, what part of Dublin is your missus from ??

Navan Road, by the Breffni, opposite the swimming pool, 1/2 way between Cabra Garda station and the Halfway house (ashtown) roundabout.

Any idea of approx. price on this off hand?
Does it mean trading your own seats?

You never know, there might be others interested.
