| vRS TFSI 12month 10,000 mile service Swmbo's car is coming up to 12 months old and I will be putting it on to fixed servicing its done about 8,500 miles  So how much would everybody say would be a good price for a 12month/10000 mile service at a main dealer?tia

| Re: vRS TFSI 12month 10,000 mile service IMO somewhere around £120 to £140 could be construed as "good" for a main dealer depending on location. Anything from £150 upwards for just an oil and filter change is questionable. AFAIK the first service on the Octavia isn't an inspection service (even under long life servicing) so there's no half hour of labour on top of the oil and filter change. |

| Re: vRS TFSI 12month 10,000 mile service cheers  I have been quoted £123 which seemed very reasonable (the furby was much dearer 3 yrs ago)and thought the garage may have made a mistake and didn't want any nasty suprises

| Re: vRS TFSI 12month 10,000 mile service Just remember even on fixed servicng the 1st annual is only a lube service (£100 max). It doesnt have to have an inspection until 2 years or 20,000 miles. |
