Honestly never been close to what is quoted here in WhatCar.co.uk

Chipped or otherwise, unless they have changed the gearbox it isn't going to make much difference unless the engine runs out of puff/you run out of road to get you to max revs in top gear.

Then again no matter what you do to it short of stick a couple of rockets on it, there is no way it's hitting that speed

No Octavia would go that fast, must have picked up a reading for the 2.0 Fabia that was "taking it like a king"
