Nah. I was merely high on life during that trip. I was told when I was 16 that indulging in smoking weed, etc. would have a permanently detrimental effect on me. I am now 26 and have never touched illicit drugs as a result.

Fair enough and I can see the confusion. My parents, and friends of theirs, were always telling me that Aspartame can be bad for your health if consumed too much and that research had been done into it. Really any fizzy pop, diet or otherwise, should only be consumed now and then, not daily, as none of them are good for you anyway. Aside from the aspartame, which I aoivd as much for it's foul taste as for anything else, there is allsorts of cr4p in those drinks.

I effect your saying here that your family warned you about this stuff, then you were ill and you blame it for causing this illness.

The really annoying thing about that site, for those of us with a 16+ in chemistry, is that they have the wrong name. It should be Hydrogen Hydroxide. But I suppose that wouldn't give them a scary long name beginning with the dreaded "di".
