Funny / strange road names.....

Filled the car up on the way home from work yesterday afternoon so decided to take the scenic route home rather than the motorway with it being a bank holiday etc... And as per usual when i take the scenic route home i drove past this road.... It just got me to thinking if there are any funnier road names in other parts of the country???

I used to work at 'fiddlers wood lane' Also there is a road in york called 'beaver dyke'! LOL

The Police Office in Milngavie (just outside Glasgow) is on the corner of ......Keystone Ave.

Some good names in Northern Ireland..........Five Mile Straight........ and guess what, its a road that "dead on" straight for 5 miles. Maybe they couldnt think of a better name?

there is. SWMBO's parent's live down there.

I used to live close to Dyke Lane in Wheathampstead (hertfordshire) which is just off Hill Dyke Road

The village of Crapstone is just outside Exeter.

Tickle **** Bridge in Castleford. The council wanted to rename it Tittle Cott Bridge Residents ****-a-hoop after winning fight to keep saucy underpass name - Yorkshire Post Seems to have gained the name from being somewhere courting couples, erm, went to in Victorian times.
