Missing bengie

I dont know about anyone else but i've been missing the Oxford bumpkin of late. Due to a broken power socket on his laptop hes not been online much recently.

I miss the hilarious antics of him trying to effect self repairs on his Octavia etc. He should be just finishing a set of discs and pads on the wagon now, odds on something has gone wrong although I havent had any phone calls as yet. Anyone have any contacts who might be able to get him powered up again? Maybe we should start a fund raiser?

Re: Missing Bengie

It's not Bengie, it's bengie. (IIRC he likes to be addressed correctly.)

Perhaps I should have kept quiet and let the man himself tell you off?

Altogether now: bengie, bengie, bengie, bengie!

Re: Missing bengie

I find a swift thwack with a hammer first loosenes them up enough to remove with a large phillips screw driver.

Re: Missing bengie

I've taken to using an impact driver, as it has a lovely BIG Philips bit, starting off by hand, and reverting to the hammer if no movement. The problem with a lot of screwdrivers is they just don't have a big enough end on em. (no s******ing at the back, please!).

Re: Missing bengie

i am here just not as loud as normal

i was using a rather large end and gave it a good thwack before unleasing my powers of persuasion on it yet the little sod still broke off. anyway its all working and my brakes are now rubbish due to shiney new discs and pads

Re: Missing bengie

Which screw was giving problems? The one that retains the disc so you can put the wheel on?

Someone in the past has snapped one of mine so it was great fun trying the get the disc to stay on there while offering up the wheel
