| Songs that sum up life? We always see "what is the best song of all time?" polls (which bohemian rhapsody alaws seems to win) so what is everyones favourite song which sums up life in general like.... Alway look on the bright side of life - Eric Idle Ironic - Alanis Morrisette Cardiac Arrest - Madness (tells you to slow dowm) and one for Dynamic Denis.. One foot in the grave - Eric Idle (yes it was released as a christmas disco song a few years ago so it counts)

| Don't know about "summing up life" but certain moments need certain songs... seasons perhaps (in life or actual) Spring, time for renewel, Metallica - Nothing else matters Summers day, life is good, Will Smith - Summertime. Autumn, times are changing, Justin Hayward - Forever Autumn (what else? )Winter, feeling down, Alice Cooper - Might as well be on Mars.

| another one is You'll never walk alone. even if it has been hijacked by a load of scousers. Or Michael Jacksons song about how much he loved his chimp - I'm forever blowing bubbles.

| Alright then, what about new versions of songs you have heard? Always look on the runway for ice ( sung at man u fans) - always look on the bright side of life or to the tune of you'll never walk alone and sung at Scousers in football grounds.... Sign on, Sign on With a pen in your hand 'cause you'll never get a job or Chim chiminy, chim chiminy chim chim cheroo we hate those barstewards in claret & blue (sung at west ham fans) any more to carry the gauntlet?

| If it's got to be done, then is got to be done properly - edited, just in case of young ones. The Winker's Song (misprint) By Ivor Biggun The Winker's Album (1978) My mother said that I never should play with the naughty, rude girls in the wood. Their giggling talk I could never understand, and that's why I fell in love with my right hand. And that's why (Chorus) I'm a winker, I'm a winker. and it does me good like it bloody well should. I'm a winker, I'm a winker and I'm always pulling my pud'. I was twenty-five years old before I was kissed, and then I found that I preferred a swift one off the wrist. It's cheap and convenient, you can't catch VD. It's available at any time and it's absolutely free. And that's why (Repeat Chorus) Oh, Mrs Palm and your five lovely daughters, thank you for having me and being oh, so kind. I've got pains in my arms and my dong is growing shorter, My knees have turned to water, and I think I'm going blind. I've winked over Italy, I've winked over Spain. I've winked in an omnibus, I've even had a wink in a train. I've used a badger and a melon and a cat, an inflatable Linda Lovelace, and a Davy Crockett hat. And that's why (Repeat Chorus) Oh, Mrs Palm and your five lovely daughters, Thank you for having me and being oh, so kind. I've got pains in my arms and my dong is getting shorter, My knees have turned to water, and I think I'm going blind.

| Briskodian | Dont forget the most important life song... "girls and boys" by good charlotte.... "girls dont like boys girls like cars and money......" "the girls with the bodies...like boys with ferrari....." although i have always been partial to "tragedy" and some Everly Brothers.. "she's lost that lovin ffelan" or "tragedy when the ffelan's gone and you cant go on"

| Welcome indeed! (Much as I love War of the Worlds, I have to say I think Justin Hayward is the weak link in the lineup, even though Forever Autumn was a big hit. It always seemed a bit lightweight to me compared with some of the other bits) |

| Dido is one of those artists you really like at first, then you get used to it and it's ok, then you get fed up of it and wish you were not listening to it for the 3000'th time. Overexposure is never a good thing.
