| Briskodian |  Strange occurence I noticed last night, as I was falling asleep that just as I guess I was about to actually fall asleep, I heard a voice say my name. It gave me a fright and woke me up pretty damn quickly I can tell you, but there was no-one there and it was the middle of the night. It has happenned may once or twice before in the past too. What on earth is that about? |

| I have had similar experience - I like to think it's a lost relative just letting me know they are watching over me. The other options are too scary

| It sounds like ur in a state called limbo. Its when your half awake and half asleep, pretty tried, when you go into the dreamstate your head brings your unconscious thoughts into your conscious awareness if im right. I get that some times, pretty freaky. |

| Briskodian  | Hi Tis strange when it happens to you. I've heard my sister's voice calling my name - she's still on the mortal coil BTW. Have called up next day just to check that all OK and it was, so can't attribute any logic to it all.  Has given rise to vodkas the next day though.... Mo |

| I've often been in the same situation sometimes quite late at night and just as I've been nodding off I've heard a dog bark (we don't have a dog). Then sometime later as I'm again nodding off I've heard a gruff type of voice shout 'GET OUT'!! Freaked me out big style for a long while afterwards. |

| I've had this a few times but it's usually on a residential school trip when I've heard kids saying my name all day. It ussually goes something like "Mister Will-E-ams..." Disconcerting but, I'm told, very common for teachers on trips.
