I get strange looks when I wash the car in the rain...but there's method in my apparent madness,
....saves you having to rinse the soap off! Lazy git!

Can't be bothered to do mine. Too cold and fed up with everything going wrong at the minute, so mine looks a little neglected at the moment.

Never done it on a Sunday morning, there been plenty of early Saturday starts though. Neighbours think I'm nuts, although the results always speak for themselves (they are shamed into coming out trying to cleaning theres, they can never manage to get the same results )

Unless it's colder to stay there than outside.....
I was cleaning mine two weeks ago as the light went. Waxing under security lights is surreal.........all that crouching to see if you've left any marks/mised a spot...........

Thats the benefits of a nice big double garage, complete with power, heat and lots of strip lights

And come daylight you usually have

I've washed the car many times when the water just freezes as it hits the metal. Best though is when it freezes on the floor too and you slide from one end of the car to the other. One of the neighbours even had a go at me in case she slipped and needed another new hip.

Ross, you are indeed in good company

When I was based in W Berlin I used to wash my car outside with hot water when the temperature was way below zero. I was fortunate however in that my garage had central heating pipes under the floor which piped hot water around all the accommodation and offices on the base.
