I am trying to track down a copy of an epsiode of 2 point 4 children. It is from Series 4 and it is called The Parent Trap. It was aired by the BBC in 1994.

I imagine it has been on somewhere like UK Gold many times since. The BBC have only ever released a few episodes (mainly from Series and 2 from what I can gather).

My family have endured my silly sense of humour for a long, long time. It isn't unusual for me to have a laughing fit lasting 10 minutes or more with the usual tears, etc..

This episode is THE funniest thing I have ever seen. I laughed hysterically for over 30 minutes. I then phoned 3 close friends, explained the episode to them and laughed some more. At the end, I was physically sick (that stopped me laughing).

So, the $64m question is.. Where am I likely to find a copy of this episode?

I google regularly for info. I've done countless searches for things like "uk gold and "video exchange" and other combinations but have literally come up blank.

I know that people will have to a copy tucked away in their video collection - How can I get my hands on it?

I once missed match of the day where my beloved Chelsea were featured and after exhausting all avenues wrote to the bbc. Low and behold a week later they sent me FREE OF CHARGE a video of the whole programme. Thanks Auntie Beeb.

A search at Play.com reveals that series 1 is available now and series 2 is due to be released on 25/04/2005. Maybe they'll release the others later.
