Talking Vegetative state and what to do about it.

Morning all from sunny Portugal

Thought this was quite funny, apologies if it's already been posted (feel free to remove my life-support system!)

My wife and I were sitting in bed the other night, talking about the ways of life, and started talking about the idea of living or dieing.

I did say to her "Never let me live in a vegetative state, relying on machines and liquids to keep me going. If I ever end up like that, please unplug everything that keeps me living in a suffering state."

She immediately got up, walked around the bed, unplugged the TV and removed my pint of beer from my bedside table

Re: Vegetative state and what to do about it.

40 odd views and no replies?

Have I offended everyone? I did have Mo PM me with her concerns. Aww bless I thought, but sounds like she was spot on

Was meant as a joke of course, which I tried to indicate with a at the end...

Re: Vegetative state and what to do about it.

Just to clarify, my concern was that there was no reference to "Joke" in the heading rather than the joke itself, in case anyone thinks I'm going to jump on them, though I doubt that would worry anybody anyway

Regards
Mo
