Well our house has gone onto the market this week but I don't expect much of a sale before Crimbo but you never know. We are now Peterborough bound so we might see some more vRS's on our travels.

Hopefully moving there for Jan - Mar 2005 time but want to rent for 6 months to give us a feel of the area before we buy again.

I have asked this before but are there any areas we should keep away from that are a little unsavoury ? Need to be about 5-10 miles from Peterborough station max.

Are you sure you don't want a nice 3 bedroom place in Helpston.....?!

Bretton, Dogsthorpe and some of the Ortons (particularly Orton Goldhay) are probably best avoided. Gunthorpe has a 'travellers' site next door.

The villages to the North and West are the ones to go for. A wise choice to rent first and have a look about and see what the market does sounds wise to me.

Quite sure about the 3 bed LOL but thanks for asking...

There is ment to be a new development called "British Sugar" (Persimmons Homes), I take it there used to be a factory called British Sugar that has been knocked down ready for building on ?

Yes thats right...it used to have a bug smelly beat factory on the site... goldhay is best avoided at the northen end but the southern end where i am is ok... one more to the list is welland estste but looks like you have the money to avaoild the crap holes...if your looking at a new house on the suger development.. or at any new develpoment around peterborough you will be fine...it the old council estates that cause problems
