vRSLen, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

Yep, same message Len - if you look at the address of the page you're directed to, it's in the 'deleted threads' section...

Did anyone chuck their rattle out of the pram after my comments?

Come on then, as you can see it, was anything said after Alex's comments? (the last thread I read there)

Fairly typical that threads get closed now and again, but removed from view completely?!

Re: Where's turbo gone gone? ;)

If that thread is about what I think it is then why should people get warranty work done on a modified car when they're not entitled to it, when others ie myself have to pay full whack? There's both sides to the arguement but at the end of the day if your lucky enough to get it done then thats ok, as long as your not hiding anything from the dealer. There's people on here telling others to hide their reg. plates or hide thier signatures as big brother is watching, but sometimes it's better to just be honest. Ok you might have to pay out sometimes but its a risk you take for modifying your car unfortunately.

Although I suspect the modifications are not being declared to Skoda UK who are picking up the tab. And that cost has to be absorbed somewhere so it'll probably be stuck on to the RRP on the next generation cars..... so the consumer ends up paying for it in the end anyway.......

He was so sure he couldn't be identified and it took me about 3 minutes to get more than enough to be able to block his warranty claim.

Yep , the more warranty claims there are , the more that the price of a new vehicle is bumped up to cover the costs.

In practice the number of modded cars getting claims through that shouldn't really be paid is only going to make a small difference , but they don't have any right to it and if they get refused that's their problem.

Mine isn't modified but if I did get a remap I'd do so in the knowledge that any related faults are now my problem

I'm sure the user manual states you should keep the car clean and occasionally polish it too
