| Whiplash? Well three months to the day after my 'accident' and my neck has started playing up. Yesterday I started to get a strange warm sensation in it and by last night it had stiffened right up again (ooer). This morning it feels all 'grisley' and notchety like it did after the crash. Not very impressed ![]()

| Did you report/visit a hospital after the accident and reported it so they have it on record ?

| Ouch ... I know, what you´re talking about.... Had a nice "stunt" last year. I stood waiting at the end of a traffic jam on the "autobahn" ( Motorway ??) In Frankfurt, and the following driver did not realize that anything ahead is standing still since a few seconds. So she rushed straight and powerfull in to my trunk with no breaking. The darkness got me with a loud crack .... So, wearing the "stiffneck" for nearly two weeks, it took some months with physiotherapy to get my head mobile in full range again. Headache, when the wheather changes, or even with no special reason is torturing me today quite often. So, see your doc soon |

Been to the docs seven times. Seeing an osteopath. Getting well ****ed off with it now. Just as things seem to start improving it starts again. At least my back is more comfortable now. Was watching the report on the TV news last night about how seats don't protect you from rearward shunts and was horrified at how far the dummy's neck moved. As I was hit from the side at aproxx 40mph I dread to think how much my neck moved with no support. To be fair the insurance doctor did warn me last week that it may never be the same again and would take 9-12 months to get anywhere near it's former state.

| (....Was watching the report on the TV news last night about how seats don't protect you from rearward shunts and was horrified at how far the dummy's neck moved....) Muhuhuhahahah ... Protection ????? The back of my seat ( AUDI !!! ) broke apart like glass ... I went through the seat and landed half on the backseats. Covered with the content of my ashtray and some other things which were not mounted in the car ... I hope you´re neck gets much better soon. Last edited by Carsten; 16-11-2004 at 17:21. |
