| Re: who says Physics can't be kool One demo that sticks in my mind is a model of an electrolytic capacitor, by use of bin liners, a EHT (High voltage ~ 600V) and some tin foil. Sparks really nice but cant find any videos and I think the one I had on my phone was deleted If sparks float you boat check out a Jacobs Ladder: Jacobs ladders You can make one yourself out of an old CRT monitor
