Nah, Wombles are from Wimbledon common, so they are not that hard, they are probably into rollerblading and fabulous tans and musical theatre. Also they have a suspicious 'Uncle' Bugaria who 'looks' after them.

Also have you ever noticed large dogs (and people for that matter) are more docile than small dogs, which are yappy and annoying and always seem to be trying to prove they are harder than the big doberman that is walking past? I reckon it will be the same with the smurfs, they will be all over the Wombles in their bigger numbers, while Orinoco is asleep and General 'Uncle' Bulgaria is busy reading a copy of the Times that someone had chucked away.


So the smurfs will win.
